THE HOW
This practitioner-focused course increases the chances of aspiring professionals to break into the field of cybersecurity given the breadth of the topics covered. The course extends our SOC analyst curriculum by delving into the cybersecurity aspect of Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC), teaching students all they need to know to explore job opportunities in Security Operations, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, and GRC.
Like the SOC Analyst course, it can be taken as online as self-paced or instructor-led. Those who prefer to learn in a traditional classroom setting can attend the onsite version at our San Antonio, Texas office over a 4-day period.

This practitioner-focused course is designed to prepare students for a career in the field of cyber security.
Students will gain a good understanding of foundational topics in cyber security, cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, protective cybersecurity solutions, security operations and incident response, and governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) among others. Learners will also have up to 60 days to complete a minimum of fifteen (15) cyber security incident response scenarios and non-technical exercises. Students who meet the course completion requirements will be awarded a shareable certified cyber defense analyst certificate and digital badge.
Students will also be automatically enrolled on our expert-led monthly masterclass program that is intended to guide them in their quest to secure an entry level cyber security job.
